¹A Psalm.

Sing a new song to the Lord,

For he has done wondrous things.

His right hand and his holy arm

Have brought him salvation.

²The Lord has made his salvation known;

He has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the Gentiles.

³He remembered his kindness and his faithfulness to the house of Israel;

All the ends of the earth saw the salvation of our God.

⁴Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth;

Break out in singing,

And cry out for joy,

And make psalm melody.

⁵Make psalm melody to the Lord with the harp,

With the harp and the sound of psalm-singing.

⁶With trumpets and the sound of the ramshorn,

Shout for joy before the king, the Lord.

⁷The sea roars, and its fulness

– The world, and those who inhabit it.

⁸The rivers clap their hands;

The mountains shout for joy together,

⁹In the presence of the Lord,

For he is coming to judge the world.

He will judge the world in righteousness,

And the various peoples in uprightness.
