A Psalm of David for remembrance.

^1bO God, hasten to deliver me;

O Lord, hasten to my assistance.

²May those who seek my life

Be ashamed and disgraced.

May those who delight in my harm

Be driven back

And be made ignominious.

³May those who say, “Ha, ha”

Go back on account of their shame.

⁴May all who seek you exult

And rejoice in you,

And may those who love your salvation always say,

“Let God be magnified.”

⁵But I am poor and needy.

O God, hasten to me;

You are my help and my deliverer.

O Lord, do not delay.
